Gay Marriage in California?

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California just recently announced this Wednesday night that he will veto a bill that would have made California the first state to legalize same-sex marriage through its elected lawmakers (1). Update: He has thankfully vetoed the bill!

Again, the Catholic Church is intrinsically opposed to gay marriage because homosexual relations are considered a sin. For information on the importance of marriage as a sacrament and why the Catholic Church is opposed to it please read an article I found.
