Today I got to visit a wonderful Catholic story to look for Mother's Day gifts. It was a bit of a drive, but it was well worth it. The story had so many pictures, rosaries, medals, Bibles, book, etc. It was wonderful.
I was looking at the Confirmation items, and the store allows people to design a confirmation cross. The cross has your name, confirmation name, and confirmation date. I believe what I saw was an act of divine light in my life. Stores always have a model on display. It so happens that the display not only had my name as the example but also my confirmation name and the month and year I was confirmed. I left with a wonderful gift and a smile knowing that God surely is smiling down upon me.
Today the Holy Vocation Blog has also made considerable progress. As of right now, there are 5 members, and one person is also going to join. It's becoming a great success, and I pray that because of it, vocations might increase. The Lord said that the harvest was plentiful but the laborers are few. I want to serve my Master by bringing souls to Him, and I want to help other people in discernment as well.
Tomorrow I'll be able to take part in the May Crowning of Our statue of the Virgin Mary. It hopefully will be a beautiful day.
