Pro-life Actions that you can do this year!
edit_button

I'm creating a list of those ways that we as pro-life Catholics can stand up for life this year. Please help me by spreading word of this list and letting me know what addition items to add to the list.

  1. Use pro-life bumper stickers [Read a success story]
  2. Read up and speak about the Bible's words on Abortion
  3. Boycott companies supporting Planned Parenthood
  4. Don't support Save lids to save lives, the March of Dimes, or UNICEF which support abortion. See #3 for an extensive list of "charities" that support abortion.
  5. Use pro-life address labels
  6. Speak out against abortion to friends. Stand up for the truth in conversation
  7. Don't buy LifeChecks. [Read why]
  8. Put pro-life literature and information on abortion alternatives in books [I read about a man that used to do this at his local libraries]

These are great suggestions MB. I would like to add another. In fact, going on the assumption that readers of this list are already pro-life, I'd go so far as to say that it belongs at the top of the list. That is not to say that it holds a higher place than prayer. But rather that when we pray for an end to abortion, we must do so with the intent of personally receiving the grace and virtues needed by each of us to become more empowered to serve as God's instruments in bringing about an end to this abomination. Each of us must accept our share of personal responsibility. We must be active pro-life advocates. What is missing in the pro-life movement today is a large enough contingent of people who are willing to get out on the streets. Participating in a walk for life or life chain once a year is far from adequate. I would be happy to communicate with anyone who would like to evaluate the various types of activities in which they can engage. For starters I would point them to CHILDREN DESERVE BIRTH and welcome all e-mail inquires. I pray that your list will bear much fruit and I thank you for allowing me to contribute to it.

Yours in Christ for Life,
Fredi
