phatmass is acting up but i wanted to make a clarification: Apotheon is of the Eastern rite. Women, in the Roman rite, are allowed to 'approach the altar'. Women are allowed to serve in a wide variety of ways you seem uncomfortable with.

I was asking Apotheoun because I know he will answer me with respect and with answers that are from his rite, not necessarily my own - or that are simply his opinions.

The buttons are available at the Catholic Blog Award's site. I just saved them to my computer, uploaded them to flickr, and then put the code in my sidebar.
