This was a bad week

I have not blogged much this week because this week has been one of the worst in my life. Monday I went to the interview that was required of me, and I honestly do not know the results. I feel that, while I did good on the test, I was not at all liked by the person who is writing the official report. I don't want to go into great detail, but I am hoping that personal opinions do not affect the report. Monday was a very beautiful day, and I spent the entire day in a room taking a test that was over 1000 questions.

Secondly, last Tuesday, one of my dogs died. It was a very tragic loss, and I still am very saddened. I have also dealt with my car breaking down and being repaired although the tow truck did not come after waiting for four hours.

It was truly a disappointing week, and I just did not feel like blogging a lot. I am, however, glad to have been able to carry my Cross through this Lent. Unfortunately, I know that I have complained about it and failed numerous times unlike Our Lord who quietly and peacefully carried His Cross. Lord, have mercy.

Ugh. Sorry you had a bad week. I can TOTALLY sympathize with you on waiting on a tow truck. I once broke down on the side of the road, and AAA said they'd be right there. Hello!!!!!!!!! Three hours later I was still waiting, and this was in downtown Miami in the dark. Later I heard about a young woman's family that sued AAA for keeping their daughter waiting so long (because she got killed).

Well, I hope you did well on that test and that the interview went well after all.

Dear Money,

I am so sorry to hear that you had to go through all this and I feel for you. Losing your dog must have been especially painful. I am so sorry.

I also had a bad week and ending up complaining about it, too - mostly telling God I really couldn't handle much more of this and that I needed extra graces to do so and asking Mother Mary for her help.

Sometimes, I really think God gives us special opportunities during Lent to make reparation for our sins and those of others as well as sharing in his redemptive suffering.

It sounds like you have already experienced your Good Friday. I hope that your Easter Sunday will come soon. I'll continue to keep you in my prayers.

"All things work for good for those who love God". (Romans 8:28)

God bless you,

I am so sorry to hear the news of your pet. It sounds like you are being tested as well during this time. God is calling you to draw close.

Problems in life assists one to pray more often. This brings us closer to God.

Pray with Mary the Mother of God. She understands bad days, watching her son being tortured and then finally seeing him die.

This bad week too will pass.

Peace.

Praying for you, and I am sorry for the loss of your dog. The person is very unprofesional if she let her personal judgments get in your way.

Don't be too hard on yourself, especially after your loss.

(And do complain about the tow-truck; it is dereliction--and possibly breach of contract?)

Have a cup of tea, and relax. Blogging is not all that important.

Ooooh, Moneybags... sounds like you had a run-in with the dreadful Psychological assessors... let me guess, probably female, or very effeminate, and aggressive. Intrusive questions about your sexuality. Etc. etc...

...and they wonder why vocations are down...!

I'll keep you in my prayers. Our Lady will help, if you are to be one of her Son's priests. Chin up!!

I would also like to add my condolances for the loss of your dog. I'm a dog lover and know what you are going through. I always loved that poem about dog spelled backward is God. I'm sure he is running around happily in God's animal heaven.
I pray you receive all the graces ncessary to get through this very difficult time.
