However, I must state that the parish in Joliet is not just an FSSP Parish; it is a parish used by the FSSP only on Sundays. For that reason, it is not elaborately decorated at all, and also of note, it is not located in the best area of Joliet, in terms of crime.

However, I do hear that the parish in Naperville is much larger and much more ornate.

Just for your consideration...Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07929374709032473716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13804788.post-18821373227899008892009-10-14T22:02:58.260-05:002009-10-14T22:02:58.260-05:00My family and I will be traveling through Illinois...My family and I will be traveling through Illinois on Oct 25 and can't wait to visit your parish in Joliet. We attend the beautiful Latin Mass serviced by the Institute of Christ the King, Sovereign Priest in Green Bay and love to visit the Latin Mass parishes around the country when we travel. Looking forward to seeing you in Joliet! I sing in the choir at the mass in Joliet and have watched the blossoming of this the first weekly traditional liturgy available in the city of Joliet since the supression of the traditional mass in the 1960's. Bishop Sartain did everyone in the doicese a favor by inviting the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter into the diocese to serve the needs of the fast growing community of those who like myself love and are so wonderfully nourished by the ancient and venerable liturgy.Rich Freemanhttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/CTAC-list/noreply@blogger.com
