Post-Election Upate: Unfortunately, Proposition 85 failed.

Everyone, please vote pro-life on November 7, 2006.

Aside from pro-life, this proposition is pro-child, pro-parent.

The 'bubble' ads on TV against prop 85 are ridiculous, claiming that prop-85 will "force" a child to tell her abusive parents. Simply not true. The text provides a judicial bypass in the case of abuse.

You are absolutely right about Prop. 85 being pro-child and pro-family.

The "official voting guide" contains arguments for and against Prop 85. Ironically, those opposed to it argue that what we really need are strong, caring families. Yet they want to restrict a parents right to know when their daughter is having a major medical procedure. How goofy is that! I've posted an entry on my blog about it.
