Reminder: FDA Guidelines on Vaccines Comment Deadline is Dec 28

I just wanted to remind my readers that the public comment period ends on December 28, 2006. Please spread the word about this most important issue.

["The FDA has issued new guidelines for the pharmaceutical industry regarding the use of various types of cell lines that are being used and will be used in the future for the manufacture of vaccines. These cell lines include several ethical sources as well as ABORTED FETAL CELL LINES. Since the FDA has invited the general public to respond through December 28, 2006, we are urging all concerned citizens, medical professionals, pharmacists and pro-life groups to let your voices be heard! It is imperative that the FDA receives a massive amount of public protest on the use of aborted fetal cell lines as your response may very well dictate the direction pharmaceutical companies will move in the future." -- Debi Vinnedge, Children of God for Life]

I am so glad you posted this! I'm amazed when such faithful Catholics (pro-life) don't understand why we delay certain shots for our son. Aside from other harmful ingredients, we object on this moral basis. My father of all people simply says that if the Vatican is fine with it, so be it. And of course he read in The Wanderer that there was no objection due to the circumstances. I disagree!

Thank you for posting the contact information. I spoke to Judy and told her I was disappointed in their decision in selecting Sheryl Crow and choosing money over morals and values. I also told her I would pray for continued blessings from Our Lord for their organization in spite of this awful error in judgment. I hope they realize they have just given the pro-choice and anti-Catholics all over the world more ammunition.
