Video: Tridentine Mass from St. Louis, Missouri

I have been blogging about the recent Tridentine Mass celebrated in St. Louis, Missouri, and I am now truly pleased to announce that parts of the Mass were filmed. It can be watched on Youtube.

Update (June 2, 2009): Videos are defunct as the author has removed them from Youtube. If anyone else has videos of this Mass, please let me know as soon as possible.

WOW! Absolutely wonderful!

I don't travel up to St. Louis very often, but this makes me want to go every Sunday. I imagine this is not the normal mass for the basilica. Does anyone know how often the basilica offers the Tridentine mass?

This was the first Tridentine Mass offered there in about 40 years, so it is not common at the basilica.

There will be another on June 15th. Archbishop Burke will be raising two men to the priesthood using the old Latin rite of ordination.

The video of the Divine Liturgy (Tridentine) Mass was awesome.Consider yourselves extemely fortunate in St. Louis to have a prelate like Archbishop Burke, we in Southern California have Tod Brown & Roger Mahoney Tod Brown of get up or else fame and roger mahoney of rainbow & dancing priestesses fame. Hopefully Brown and Mahoney retire soon so that real bishops can take their places.

If anyone would like to attend a beautiful Tridentine Mass in St. Louis, MO, you can do so at St Francis de Sales Oratory. It is every Sunday three times a day and they also have weekday masses.
