- Post as often as possible. I can not post while I am in seminary, but I am allowed to post outside of the seminary building. So, if I do have time, I will try and visit a nearby library and post occasionally over the next few months.
- Edit/Update Past Posts. I have a few thousand to edit because I want to have each spiritual reference link to the verse in the Douay Rheims Bible. I also want to put on each page about a saint the Collect from the 1962 Missal.
- Find Hundreds of Photos of the Tridentine Mass. I have searched Google Images and have a collection of images, but I want to find new images of the Tridentine Mass. If you have some images and would allow me to use them for posts on my blog, please email me at acatholiclife[at]gmail.com

With the start of another year I would like to outline my goals for this blog throughout the year. I will need some help in achieving some of them.

Just my own opinion, but I don't think you should post during term-time.
I certainly will not be posting much, and I will only post when I am allowed to do so.
Don't get me wrong; it's just I would love to be able to set such a rule for myself.
Perhaps Ken over at Hallowed ground can help you find pictures for the blog. I would love to have a BIG directory with many TLM pictures, also pictures of Priestly vestments, and Pre Vatican II parish life.
Matthew,
You will be in our family's prayers. Thank you for such a wonderful blog. The pictures of the Holy Mass are extraordinary.
God Bless,
Kathy
I wish I had pictures for you... sorry.
Just surfing the web and came across your blog. Praise God that you recognized your calling. I also am on a journey to service. Please take a look at these web pages and if you think it wise, please share them. My mission is stated very clearly and I feel like it is helping me to prepare for my volunteer service. Here is the link: http://www.phatmortgage.com/rosary.html
Thank you, I'll be praying for you.
Hi!
If you want to get many pictures from contemporary "tridentine rite" masses I suggest you to visit the italian website www.rinascimentosacro.com
It has a lot of pictures!
Dear Matthew, there is no need to be 'a traditional Catholic' or priest (to be). It is enough to be Catholic and follow the teaching of the Pope.
I passed my first 25 years participating in the Tridentine Mass - it was beautiful - but I have appreciated the changes brought about by the Council. I believe strongly that the Holy Spirit was present and active during the Council. My advice: not traditional or modern, but just faithful to Church teaching, especially the lead given by His Holiness.
Dear Matthew, I am a Roman Catholic catechist from Malta (Europe), and I appreciate you are answering God's call to His service. What I didn't like was the use of the words 'a traditional Catholic' - preferring the Tridentin Mass. I know the Pope has given permission for this Mass, and I appreciate it myself – as I passed about 25 years attending such a Mass. But why should we prefer one Mass over the other? Has the Holy Spirit left the Church during the Council? Of course he didn't. My advice, therefore is this: follow the advice of H.H. the Pope. His preferences should be ours.
No the Holy Spirit has not left the Church, but the Novus Ordo Mass is not as beautiful and reverent to Our God as the Tridentine Mass. I agree with some of the sentiments here:
