I ask for your prayers for the repose of the soul of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, and his saintly parents, as well as prayers for his canonization. Saints like St. Joan of Arc and St. Anthanasius were despised - St. Anthanasius was at one time excommunicated and St. Joan of Arc was executed for supposedly being a "heretic".
Pray for the canonization of Marcel Lefebvre. Without his role in the restoration of the Tridentine Latin Mass, it would not be available in the world today. Without his role, Summorum Pontificum would not exist. Our Savior has sent to us a shepherd after His own heart to protect the Mass of the Ages.

I am not judging the man but a true saint would have stayed in the Church and changed it from within.
when the Church is restored, and we know it will be, Lefebvre will be canonized. If Athanasius had worried about being labelled as "outside" or "not in union", it would have only served to plunge the world deeper into darkness. Thank God for true Catholic heroes.
That is exactly what Archbishop Lefevre did...He STAYED in and with the Church. Vatican II was the branch that separated from the vine, not the other way around
Archbishop Marcel Lefevre did for us a great Saintly and heroic act, we ought to thank God for his life, obedience and holiness.
