Each year I have made what I call "Catholic Resolutions." These New Years Resolutions are not centered on losing weight, eating more healthy, or the like. Rather, these resolutions each year are centered around my spiritual life. I encourage all of you to make resolutions specifically geared on improving your own Faith life and your own knowledge of the Faith. Ask yourself:
1. Do I know the Faith that I profess to believe in? If not, how can I learn more? For example, CatechismClass.com has an ideal Adult Course just for this purpose.
2. Am I truly living a Catholic life? Am I learning more prayers? Am I helping others to learn the Faith and live it out? Do I regularly receive the Sacraments?
3. Do you struggle with certain sins or addictions?
This is the time of year to truly set Catholic Resolutions which will have eternal repercussions.
Thus, I would like to list my Catholic Resolutions for the upcoming year.
2014 Catholic Resolutions
1. Continue to pray the Rosary Daily
2. Pray the Divine Office at least 1X Daily
3. Network with 10 more Traditional Catholics
4. Receive the rank of Squire in the Order of Knight of our Lady and make progress in my study towards the rank of Donate
5. Bi-Weekly Confession to help conquer old habits

I awoke this morning with the determination to make a difference for good. I've had it with the 2 steps forward and 10 steps back so your blog came at the right time.
Yes, there will still be back and forth but if one puts on the armor they stand a better chance of winning the battle. Just like an athlete training for the Olympics, it's imperative to tweak the training, nutrition etc.
Hi there! Great resolutions! Feel free to look my husband and I up on our blog: http://sweetheartsseekingsanctity.blogspot.com/ We post infrequently but if you ever need a Traddie Catholic contact in the Chicago area, let us know! Thought I'd help out with your networking goal :)
Hahaha! I just noticed you're from the Chicago area! Well, add us to your Traddie list around here! When we're in town, we attend the Canon of St. John Cantius parish in Volo. We have attended the SSPX in Chicago as well. Otherwise, when we're in Kenosha visiting my family, there is a diocesan Mass every Sunday at 12N at Mount Carmel. We were married this past July by the Institute. So, we're pretty familiar with every Latin Mass in the area :) Even ones held in retired priest's condos :) God Bless! And Happy Feast of the Circumcision!
Wonderful, thank you both of your comments
Nice resolutions! I wish I could find a copy of the Divine Office with Latin on one page and English on the other. I saw one once in a church, but never since then. God bless you!
Isabella,
They do exist. Here are some of them:
The first is the complete Divine Office suitable for the most serious user as it has absolutely everything in three volumes. It has a high price though:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/1905574460?tag=acatlif-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as4&creativeASIN=1905574460&adid=1MG3S0RDBXWNHT87JJPK&
This version is perfect for the average layman and is one I'd recommend very much. The price is also very affordable:

Isabella, you could also use the Little Office of the BVM: http://www.baroniuspress.com/book.php?wid=56&bid=47#tab=tab-1
Also, maybe just get Prime and Compline from Clear Creek Abbey, used by their Oblates: http://www.lulu.com/shop/clear-creek-monastery/prime-and-compline-according-to-the-benedictine-ritual/paperback/product-4477907.html
