Interesting! At least one and maybe two or more of the photos are of Anglican High Masses. :)

In that case, it must have been Anglican-use Catholic Masses.

Thank you, Matthew. I have downloaded this for later.

I am sure you can empathise with this, but I find videos like this incredibly personal. It's difficult to put into words...but something about the Mass, as a sacrifice, as something you may one day offer. Does that make sense?

Mark, I also find great joy in thinking about presiding at the Sacrifice of the Mass. It is something truly special to me also.

Indeed; and it's a thought which I can truthfully say feels devoid of ego. Acting in persona Christi capiti there would be no self-aggrandizement there, because how can little, frail me ever act in the personhood of my Lord and God? Yet, that is what happens with Priests...

Did you see Ma Beck's post about an ordination? She wrote "a man dies, a Priest is born". I can understand her sentiment. Some people say Priests/seminarians are too hard on their selves, but I think of our Lord's instruction, "be perfect, as your Father is perfect" (Mt. 5:48).

What a lovely montage of Catholicism. I just can't connect to the traditionalist church, because it is not the wider Church. The whole Church must be renewed. I hope the Church and the traditionalist church come together and renew together, so that the future will be new and old at the same time, because going back now seems impossible. I am hoping the result of this kind of merger will become something as beautiful as the past was. Thanks for posting the montage, Matthew! Bob
