Today is the Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist and the commemoration of Saint Sabina. See my previous post for more information for this holy day. Remember, it was only a few weeks ago - June 24th that we remember the Nativity of St. John the Baptist.Collect:
May the holy festival of Thy Forerunner and Martyr, St. John the Baptist, we beseech Thee, O Lord, afford us help unto salvation: Who livest and reignest.
