MORRILTON, Ark. — Penny Lord — who with her husband, Bob, became a familiar sight to Eternal Word Television Network’s international family of viewers as they hosted a series of programs that began the year after the Lords had their first interview with Mother Angelica in December 1986 — died at home on Jan. 21. She was 85.Journeys of Faith are the publishers of all of Bob and Penny Lord's books and videos.
The Lords would go on to be network regulars over the next 26 years, with programs that continue to air today. They became particular favorites of viewers and would frequently appear at EWTN events, including the 2013 Family Celebration in Birmingham, Ala.
“From the earliest days of the network’s history, Penny Lord was a devoted and faithful supporter of Mother Angelica and the mission of EWTN,” noted Michael Warsaw, chairman and CEO of EWTN. “Together with her husband, Bob, she touched the lives of countless viewers of EWTN, transporting them to shrines and places of pilgrimage and devotion around the world.
“Her enthusiasm and zeal for Our Lord was infectious. All of us who knew her through the years took great joy in every encounter, phone call or meeting with Penny. We will certainly miss her greatly.”
Let us pray for the repose of her soul.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Te decet hymnus, Deus, in Sion,
et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem.
Exaudi orationem meam,
ad te omnis care veniet.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Grant them eternal rest, Lord,
and let perpetual light shine on them.
You are praised, God, in Zion,
and homage will be paid to You in Jerusalem.
Hear my prayer,
to You all flesh will come.
Grant them eternal rest, Lord,
and let perpetual light shine on them.

I just saw where she died, on EWTN as they had repeat showing of video in Paris regarding Our Lady. I have always enjoyed their stories of the saints and will miss them. Thank goodness they have many videos left to show. I've ask Holy Mary to take good care of her transporting her to Our Lord in Heaven. Thanks, Penny.
Thank you, Father God, for your gift of Penny Lord to my life via EWTN. I am in RCIA classes right now after a long drug addiction. I doubt I'll ever be able to see the holy places in person; She, and her husband, Bob, have made a "pilgrimage" possible for me, over and over again. I hope to see them both in Paradise and thank them for that gift!!
Is her husband Bob still alive if so how old is he?
