Litany of Irish Saints

Ireland is home to over 300 canonized saints. On St. Patrick's Day, let us honor them and pray for Ireland and the Irish people, especially that they rekindle their Catholicity and ever stand firm in the Church's teachings and in the Faith. This is especially true in regards to the nation's laws on life.

This Litany is approved for public recitation in the churches of Ireland

Dear Matthew, peace.
Am disappointed that St Ronan does not appear in the Litany. There are 14 noted in the 6th and 7th centuries in hagiographies. My own patron saint was an Irish Bishop who left Ireland in a boat with sail but no rudder or oars and became a hermit in Brittany. The ancient township of Locronan (Locus Ronani) has a church dedicated to him. St Ronan pray for us. Amen.

Please pray for the people of Ireland. We need your prayers . Thank you so much. All Saints of Ireland pray for us. Help us to lead a true Catholic life, just as you did. Give us the courage to stand up for our faith regardless of the outcome.
