Why does the heading photo of this blod show men and boys only? Do you think women and girls are excluded from "the Catholic life?" Your blog reads like you think the Catholic church is an exclusive men's club.
The photo shows seminarians and a bishop. The priesthood is only for men because, it was instituted as such by Christ. Women have a role in the Church - all peoples are called to the Church. But, men and women have different vocations and roles; similarly, they have separate roles in the Church.
Nice to see you back :)
I am a true beliver in bashing the catholic "LIFE" their made up sins make me understand how well humans have no common sense. Come on people wake up and smell the coffee church's were desined to control people. I am really starting to think people just believe everything they hear out of the popes mouth. What do they really think that the pope has the power to talk to God.. God says to the pope I want new sins, it is now a sin not to pay your taxes, to polute the earth... etc I think some people need an education on it.. Now I have never judged church's before, I went my way they went theirs, But now the catholic church is judging something they just dont understand.., the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me. If this is true I need to know why do you pray to Mary, Jesus, Saints etc... There is only 1 God, a god you can not see.. I am not saying Jesus was not God's son because we are all Gods children.. so if you want to define this to me please do.
Hi Matthew,
I was wondering what they do in the seminary for the month of May to honor Our Lady?
I'm going to try to blog about BVMary all through May.
