Through the providential gift of the Holy Father's Motu Proprio Summorum Pontificum, Ss. Peter and Paul in Wisconsin Rapids will begin to offer the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite on the First Sunday of the month at 4 PM. This will begin the 3rd of October of this year. The Institute of Christ King will be offering the Holy Mass.

Hey Matthew, my name is Matthew as well and we talked a long time ago (my site is Christthecenterofyourlife) and at that time you were going to become a priest? What happened to your ambitions of becoming a priest? Your site is nice and the Latin Mass seems like a beautifull mass and I would love to celebrate a mass like that some day. I do have one question for you and that is do you reject Vatican II or do you emphasize pre-Vatican II ideas? I just cant seem to grasp the Church without Vatican II and its documents.
Hello, Matthew. Yes I do remember your site. Thanks for visiting again. I have left the seminary due to clerics there who did not teach Catholicism as it should be taught. They forced upon me and other arbitrary rules and in the end, I knew that the seminary was not the place for me because of the litany of offenses that were committed there.
As to whether or not to accept Vatican II, that is not a real concern for me. I attend the Latin Mass and know that the Faith of my fathers and grandfathers was in that Mass. I believe what they believed. If they were right then then I must be right now since the Faith does not change. I exclusively attend the Tridentin Mass. I view the Novus Ordo and the theology around it (e.g. ecumenism, religious liberty, Communion in the Hand, etc) to be flawed.

I am sorry you were offended in the seminary. Maybe if you tried a different place or religious life that may fit the way you want to live your faith? As for Vatican II, I dont think it is a matter of being right or wrong. The changes in the mass I don't believe to be so serious that we can label them as flawed. The Church may be evolving or changing concerning the little things, which can change, but has stood strong on doctrine, dogma and things like contraception. I see nothing wrong with the Latin Mass but I see nothing wrong with the I'm not sure how to say it, post-Vatican II mass either. Proper ecumenism is a strong way to peace, evangelization, and the conversion of many to the Catholic faith.
