Image: Communion Visit to the Sick

This is a striking photograph of a 1942 image from LIFE magazine depicting a priest in Quebec taking communion to someone who is sick. He’s being led by an altar boy carrying a candle.

Notice the people on the step kneeling as the priest approaches with the Blessed Sacrament.  Where has our piety gone?  Have the vast majority of men lost this gift of the Holy Ghost?

Kyrie eleison!

People ask, where has all the Catholic piety gone? The answer is simple. Ask the Vatican II / Modernist Popes, cardinals, and bishops why they killed it. Weren't they the ones that unleashed an terrible campaign of hate, ridicule, and persecution against Catholic Tradition and the Latin Mass? Weren't they the ones that threw out the Christ-centered Hoy Sacrifice of the Mass and replaced it with a Man-centered Protestant-inspired worship service? By their fruits we shall know them.
