A Catholic Life: Prayer for Final Exams

I imagine most of my readers have noticed that I have posted much less this week than typically. It is simply because I have finals this week. Next week I hope to again continue my frequent postings!

Also, I have been having some trouble lately with an online Catholic forum because of my love for the Tridentine Mass and the Traditions of the Church. I would appreciate your prayers for the improvement of this situation.

This powerful prayer is very effective in examinations. It has to be said before appearing in the examination. There are two variants to this prayer. Both the prayers are equally effective. You can choose any one of these:

First Prayer

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Through Christ our Lord.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.

Amen.

Second Prayer

O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination eg. History paper I ) examination.

In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

O St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for me

O Holy Ghost enlighten me

Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me

Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

Remember, when you succeed in the exams then you should thank St. Joseph of Cupertino.

My Prayers to our Lord, Holy mother Mary, Merciful Jesus and St Joseph of Cupertino have been answered. I have no words to describe my gratitude right now, but i know you can look into my heart and understand me. I just passed the first step in my masters examination. After very difficult written papers last week, I was in despair when preparing for my vivas. My 1st viva, i was asked questions that i was prepared for, my 2nd viva although i was asked very difficult questions, and i couldnt answer them all, i still passed the examination

Anonymous said...: Holy Moley it works!! Wow, I had a 64 grade point average going into my third exam for my nursing psychology. I am such an abstract thinker, I made the highest grade in my class in med-surg! I have been struggling so much and I really thought that God just didn't want me to be a nurse.
Well, right before going into take my third exam, I googled Catholic Miracle prayers before and exam and stumbled upon St. Joseph of Cupertino.
I figured I was already failing so how bad could it hurt to try one of his prayers....
I ended up making a 93!! on my third exam AND my quiz grades came in and I made another 93!!
I now have an 81.4 in the class, which is passing by 5 points!
I am such a believer in him now, which I guess I have to apologize because I know it's the ones who believe without seeing who are the blessed ones but maybe I'll get better at that one day.

Anonymous said...: I'm asking for you all to pray for my daugher who is taking her State Board Cosmotology Exam next Tuesday, Dec.7th. She has a learning disability and has taken this test 5 times already. She did not want special help but I told her there was no shame in getting a reader to read the questions to her. She has struggled with dyslexia and ADD all her life. I pray that God and St. Joseph will help her to focus and finally pass her test! She is so wonderful and has such a talent not only with her clients but has such a beautiful heart.

This powerful prayer is very effective in examinations. It has to be said before appearing in the examination. There are two variants to this prayer. Both the prayers are equally effective. You can choose any one of these:-

First Prayer

O Great St. Joseph of Cupertino who while on earth did obtain from God the grace to be asked at your examination only the questions you knew, obtain for me a like favour in the examinations for which I am now preparing. In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

Through Christ our Lord.

St. Joseph of Cupertino, Pray for us.

Amen.

Second Prayer

O St. Joseph of Cupertino who by your prayer obtained from God to be asked at your examination, the only preposition you knew. Grant that I may like you succeed in the (here mention the name of Examination eg. History paper I ) examination.

In return I promise to make you known and cause you to be invoked.

O St. Joseph of Cupertino pray for me

O Holy Ghost enlighten me

Our Lady of Good Studies pray for me

Sacred Head of Jesus, Seat of divine wisdom, enlighten me.

Remember, when you succeed in the exams then you should thank St. Joseph of Cupertino.

Thank you so much for interceding on my boyfriend's behalf during his test- He passed his pharmacy boards! Today he takes the law exam for the second time. He did not pass the first time. This is the last step he needs to fulfill in order to become a Pharmacist. Please be with him as he takes this test today. Pray for him and intercede as you did during his Pharmacy board test.
