Yoiks! Not a post to just skim.

I'll have to come back when I have more time - and a copy of the Catholic Encyclopedia!

Thanks for such a good response, everyone. I'm glad you liked it. I made this two years ago after going through RCIA.

Audrey,

I haven't made an answer key yet since in the past I just recited the answer. Would you like me to create one? I'll gladly do so.

Thanks!

USCCB's catechism quiz here

Haven't read through the list, but I do appreciate the fact that it's long. So if it were a test, I can miss a bunch of questions and still get a decent grade. :)

Some of the questions are duplicated. Is that on purpose or by mistake?

Hello Moneybags,

This is great, thanks for posting it. I don't know how I missed it when you first posted it. It's going to help me.

Also, about:

82. T/F Tattoos are allowed. (Hint: Leviticus 19:28)

I was reading Levictus and came across this verse then I googled it and came to a tattoo site, and it has a Christian explaination to Levictus 19:28. After reading this I searched your blog to see if you had said anything on tatoos and this great Catholic Exam is what I got.
The website is:

http://www.inksling.com/tattoos_and_religion.htm

What do you think of this explaination? (anyone reading may respond please)

God Bless.

Matthew

Matthew,

I was taught in RCIA that tattooing still remains part of the Law of God. Unlike the other laws in Leviticus, Christ, I believe, kept the prohibition on tattooing through the Church's teachings and the Bible: our body is God's temple. And as God's temple, it should not be treated like a billboard.
