Words of Inspiration: April 24, 2006

Blessed Mother Teresa: "If you can’t feed a hundred people, then feed just one"

Padre Pio: "The devil has only one door through which to enter into our soul; the will. There are no secret doors. There is no sin, if it has not been committed willfully. When the will does not consent, there is no sin but human weakness."

O! said...

I thought about something today as I was reflecting on the attitude that we should cater to other people's beliefs and how that is apparently "compassionate." I was just thinking about cases where, for example, a woman is pregnant and scared and considering abortion and how some people think we can't impose our feelings on the situation and to allow the woman to make her own decisions.

I think that allows for the wrong choice to be made. That CONDONES dishonor, weakness, cowardice.

This is what I thought that your post reminded me of:

Sin condones human weakness. We do not have to be weak.

Okay, done rambling.
